Clearer statuses
People can see where a request is, who owns the next step and what has already been approved.
Automation ยท audit trail
Manual work often hides more than time waste. It hides unclear responsibility, missing approvals and weak process history.
Situation
Work happened through emails, spreadsheets, verbal agreements and scattered files. It was difficult to see who approved a decision, where a request was stuck, what the current status was and what could be shown to management or audit.
My role
Outcome
People can see where a request is, who owns the next step and what has already been approved.
Approvals and reminders become part of the process instead of separate email work.
Decisions have a history: who did what, when and why.
Lesson
Good automation does not start with a tool. It starts with understanding where decisions, risk and ownership live in the process.
